Why We Exist
Our journey into hospitality in Grenada began with a simple idea: travel should feel effortless from the moment you land.
When we first created Oceanview Hillside Retreat, we wanted guests to experience Grenada the way we fell in love with it — waking up to ocean views, enjoying the warm island breeze, and feeling completely at home in a peaceful Caribbean setting. But we quickly realized that while the island is beautiful, the arrival experience for travelers could sometimes feel complicated.
Visitors often had to navigate airport taxis, rental car arrangements, and unfamiliar logistics right after landing. We knew there had to be a better way.
So, we decided to do something different.
We introduced complimentary airport pickup and an on-site vehicle for our guests, creating a seamless arrival experience that removes the typical travel stress. From the moment guests step off the plane, they’re welcomed and guided through obtaining their temporary driving permit before being taken directly to the property. Once they arrive, their vehicle is already waiting — ready for them to explore Grenada at their own pace.
This simple idea transformed the guest experience. Travelers could settle in immediately, relax, and begin enjoying the island without worrying about transportation.
As more guests discovered and loved this hassle-free approach, we expanded and introduced our second property, Harbor Haven Luxury Retreat. Overlooking the stunning Egmont Harbor, Harbor Haven was designed to elevate the experience even further — offering breathtaking waterfront views, peaceful surroundings, and the same thoughtful amenities that make travel feel effortless.
